Job Description:
We are currently seeking an intermediate civil engineer to add to our growing team. Primarily working from our Surrey office, you are an accomplished and experienced Civil Engineer with demonstrated expertise and experience in municipal design, land development design, processes, approvals, Master Municipal Contract Documents (MMCD), and Contract Administration.

You will be actively involved in land development and municipal capital works projects throughout the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley. You will be primarily responsible for civil design, project management, and contract administration.
Responsibilities:
- Lead civil engineering design and project management, delivering exceptional results.
- Coordinate seamlessly with clients, sub-consultants, and outside agencies.
- Prepare comprehensive reports, studies, and cost estimates.
- Craft Master Municipal Contract Documents (MMCD) Tenders with precision.
- Maintain project schedules, budgets, invoicing, and oversee contracts (MMCD).
- Foster relationships by liaising with clients, contractors, and municipalities.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Professional engineering experience, 5-10 years, with a focus on local land development and municipal engineering.
- Eligibility for registration with Engineers and Geoscientists of BC as P.Eng. or P.L.Eng.
- Proficiency in sewer, watermain, roads, grading design, and stormwater management.
- Adept at project management and cost estimation.
- Mastery in preparing design, tender, and contract specifications, particularly MMCD.
- Detailed knowledge of civil construction and project execution.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines effectively.
- Possession of a valid BC Driver’s License.
Additional Assets:
- MMCD Contract Administrator (CA) designation.
- Working knowledge of Civil3D.
