Wedler’s Courtenay branch officially opened for business on January 12, 2007. Operating out of the basement of a local land surveying firm, the original staff included two engineers, both of whom are now Partners.

During the first years of operation, the team worked on projects in all of the Prairie Provinces, the Peace River area, and as far as the Northwest Territories. To this day, Wedler continues to provide services to remote communities.

Wedler’s Courtenay Branch is led by Andrew Gower, a Professional Engineer with over 28 years of experience. He volunteers with several local non-profits and is passionate about the Comox Valley’s sustainable future. A noteworthy accolade to our Courtenay team is that Greg Merchant, Partner, and Senior Project Manager, has been a great contributor to our success since our office opened its doors in January 2007.
