Parr Avenue Subdivision, Mission, BC

The Parr Avenue subdivision is the northerly portion of a 30 Ha area lying within the Stave Heights Neighbourhood on the east side of Stave Lake Street in Mission. Wedler has been providing planning, design, approvals, construction and completion civil engineering services for the initial phases of the development comprising 64 single-family homes as well as approximately 6 Ha of townhouse and apartment development within the eventual 30 Ha neighbourhood.

The development is constrained by steep slopes, geohazard (rock fall) protection requirements, and protected streamside areas which create site servicing and development density challenges. Wedler has worked closely with the City, developer, contractor and the geotechnical and environmental consultants to address the challenges of the physical terrain, including culverts, environmental restoration, site grading, significant retaining walls, storm water detention, site servicing and roadworks and trails.
