We were contracted by the Township of Langley to provide design and construction services for upgrading 200th Street from south of 82 Ave. to 83 Ave. Our responsibilities included assisting the Township of Langley in negotiations with home owners, coordination with Translink and ICBC, and administering all aspects of design, tendering, construction management and inspections.

The project included:

• Upgrading of 200 Street from a two-lane (southbound) arterial roadway to a three-lane plus bicycle lane arterial road, complete with green-way path and street lighting; total length of 270m.
• Modification of existing centre medians to restrict turning movements.
• Installation of Allan Block retaining wall; total length of 175m.
• Installation of traffic signals at 82 Avenue / 200 Street intersection, complete with advanced warning flashers.
• Conversion of adjacent properties from septic to pumped municipal sanitary.
• Conversion of adjacent properties from well water to municipal water supply.
