We were the prime consultant for the design and construction phases of the 165-acre redevelopment of an ex-military base into a multi-partner Education Park. Upon completion of the project, the Canada Education Park became home to the RCMP, JIBC, DND, CBSA and the new Chilliwack UFV campus.

The project encompassed reconstruction of 1,800m of municipal road, complete with all underground services plus special streetscape features and wayfinding signage. Tree protection formed an important component of this project as well. Due to our role as the prime consultant, we also coordinated the architectural, landscape, arborist and electrical components, as well as MMCD contract tendering, contract administration and construction management.

As a result of our work on this project, we were honoured to receive the 2011 Chilliwack Chamber of Commerce Award for Development Excellence.
